What a great place to visit during the summer! They have camping, hiking, boating, picnicing and more around this beautiful lake in the North Carolina mountains. It's located near Blowing Rock off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Plan to visit one day and take a picnic, you'll enjoy it.

Pilot Mountain is a great place to visit! Drive up through this park, walk out to the lookout and this is your view of Pilot Mountain. If you're a rock climber, you'll love this area.

White Dogwood

The dogwood is the state flower for North Carolina. The tree blooms in March or April during the spring season. This white dogwood is beautiful!

What pretty red tulips! This is one of my favorite flowers. They look so good when there's a whole bunch coming up in one section.

These purple crocus are so pretty with their orange centers. Great bulb flowers to plant in the ground and wait for spring!
